Medical Education

Through its Ralph P. Leischner, Jr, MD, Department of Medical Education, Stritch promotes innovation, best practices, and leadership in medical and related health sciences education. Among its many charges, the Department incorporates distinct Stritch values across the curriculum. One of those values is life-long learning, which the Division of Continuing Medical Education facilitates. With our academic medical center partner, graduate medical education (residencies, fellowships) help Stritch graduates and others continue their life-long educational journey.

The Stritch School of Medicine's outstanding clinical education combined with opportunities to participate in research, global health, and service equip graduates with the clinical and "soft" skills required to provide exceptional patient care.  Graduates of Loyola's Biomedical Sciences Programs have the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in their career path.

State-of-the-art facilities at our Health Sciences Campus are just some of the teaching environments to train multidisciplinary, collaborative health care teams in quality and safety.
