Cranial Base Tumors

We offer comprehensive care for Cranial Base tumors utlizing all treatment modalities. We offer Lateral Skull Base Surgery for tumors of the parotid gland, temporal bone, TMJ, or intradural tumors of the middle and posterior fossa, such as acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, or glomus tumors. We also offer endoscopic surgery for treatment of Anterior Skull Base tumors, such as nose and sinus cancers, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks, pituitary tumors, craniopharyngiomas, meningiomas, and other tumors that affect the anterior or middle cranial fossa. We have minimized the risk of postoperative complications, shortened the hospital stay, and time out of work, while enjoying a less than 3% recurrence rate of these tumors. Our Loyola Center for Cranial Base Tumors has treated over 3000 patients making us one of the top five such programs in the country, and is one of the few programs in the country to be included in the North American Skull Base Society Team Honor Roll.
