The Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental Medicine is committed to the care of patients, the education of residents in both oral and maxillofacial surgery and hospital dentistry, the advancement of both fields through research, and the dissemination of knowledge through continuing education programs.

The division provides consultation and treatment for:

• Oral and maxillofacial anomalies of growth and development
• Facial skeletal deformities
• Oral and maxillofacial trauma
• Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and facial pain problems
• Oral and maxillofacial pathology
• Oral and maxillofacial reconstruction
• Oral implants, Facial Implants Extraction and surgical removal of teeth
• Malocclusion

• Orthognathic surgery for the correction of congenital, developmental and acquired oral & maxillofacial deformities
• Oral and maxillofacial reconstructive jaw surgery after tumor removal
• Reconstruction of the temporomandibular joints (TMJ)
• Orthodontics for correction of malocclusion
• Oral appliance treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea
