Saadia Rafiq, MA
I hold a double Master of Arts in Politics and International Studies and World History from Long Island University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Journalism from the State University of New York of New Paltz. I have worked as an Academic and Career Counselor and Success Coach at Long Island University, as well as an Assistant Director of Student Employment at New York Institute of Technology. Most recently, I was an Assistant Dean at the College of Arts and Sciences at Fairfield University in Connecticut. In addition to my experience in higher education, I bring experience from teaching History and Political Science at Suffolk County Community College. I also have professional affiliations with NASPA, NACADA, and is a member of the Phi Sigma Alpha and Phi Gamm Mu honor societies.
