The American Medical Association (AMA) chapter at the Stritch School of Medicine is an extension of the largest nationwide association of physicians (MDs and DOs) and medical students. The AMA's stated mission is "to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health." The Stritch School of Medicine chapter of AMA works to engage students at the local, state, and national level about the academic, professional, political, and public health issues facing the continuously changing medical landscape. Our goal is to promote awareness of these issues and help students develop the leadership and communication skills necessary to address them, while providing the environment to network with other professionals.
