Integrative Medicine Interest Group

Integrative Medicine is a holistic approach to medicine which combines a variety of practices to best treat each individual patient as a unique person. These alternative practices include meditation, acupuncture, herbal supplements, hypnosis, osteopathic manipulation medicine (OMM), healthy lifestyle habits, art therapy, etc. Our organization aims to introduce the idea of an integrative approach to healthcare to medical students by providing physician let workshops on the above practices, shadowing opportunities to better understand how this type of medicine can be used in the clinic, and physician panels.
