She's The First (STF)

She's The First

She's the First (STF) is a international non-profit organization that supports girls in low-income countries by providing them with the support, mentorship, and funding to pursue their education and graduate from high school. Our vision is a world where every girl chooses her own future and is unstoppable.

To date, there are over 200 STF campus chapters in ten countries that are advocating for gender equality. She's the First Loyola SSOM is the first campus chapter to be associated with a medical school, and we are excited to join in the cause and empower girls to change the world around them. Our campus chapter promotes girls’ education, social justice, and gender equality at Loyola and in our community. We offer members the opportunity to participate in a variety of outreach events and fundraising campaigns, become involved in monthly discussions pertaining to gender equality, and attend the annual STF Summit in New York.
