Syrian American Medical Society
The mission of our organization is to shed light on and raise awareness regarding the ongoing Syrian humanitarian crisis. We seek to aid our parent organization in providing medical relief through fundraising, advocacy, and various volunteer outlets, such as packaging health kits, in order to aid the millions of Syrian refugees facing various health inequities globally. Our parent organization, the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS), is a nonpolitical, nonprofit global medical relief organization that is working on the front lines of crisis relief in Syria, neighboring countries, and beyond to alleviate suffering and save lives. SAMS, which was founded in 1998, is one of the most active and trusted international NGOs on the ground in Syria.
