- Summaries
- Paul's research focuses on improving the quality of care for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. He is also studying the effectiveness of a unique clinic dedicated to advance care planning. Previously he published research examining the formation of trust between clinicians and surrogate decision-makers in the ICU. He has also explored the role of physician recommendations during family meetings and the prevalence and consequences of gifts given to physicians from pharmaceutical companies.
