Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Graduate Program

The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology program is an interdisciplinary program offering students the opportunity to pursue research in human cancer and experimental therapeutics, molecular virology, bacteria/host symbiosis, molecular immunology, epigenetics, molecular cardiology, and eukaryotic and prokaryotic gene transcription, expression, genetics, and signal transduction.

GENERAL INFORMATION

All graduate programs in the Integrated Program in Biomedical Sciences (IPBS) are at the Loyola University Health Science Division (HSD), located in Maywood, Illinois, approximately 10 miles west of downtown Chicago. The rapidly expanding HSD campus features state-of-the-are facilities for education and biomedical research, all within proximity of the prestigious Loyola University Medical Center.
