Student Poster Presentations Winners

The annual Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Retreat was held on September 11, 2021 at Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA) and follow by an Architectural Boat Tour in downtown Chicago. Welcome New Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Program students

The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology program welcomes Ryan Mack from the Integrated Program in Biomedical Sciences. Ryan has joined the laboratory of Dr. Jiwang Zhang.

Kanak Joshi (Zhang laboratory) presented a poster of his research at the International Society for Stem Cell Research. The title of his presentation was "Caspase-8 is selectively required for preventing Ripk3-mediated necroptosis in c-Kit+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPC) but not c-Kit- hematopoietic cells".
