What is your number #1 highlight in medical teaching?
The joy that you see on the faces of the students and the use of their training to evaluate patients and examine them. Their ability to assess the patient and establish a treatment plan and diagnosis.

If you could share one tip with your fellow clinical teachers, what would it be?
Remember to watch the student grow clinically and see them enjoying their rotation.

What’s the most important thing you learned about teaching when you were starting out?
Teaching is fun! I always get out of it more than I give.

What’s the biggest piece of advice you would share with an aspiring teacher?
You can learn from anyone, especially the students!
