About the Department

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Loyola University Medical Center is composed of psychiatrists, psychiatry residents, neuropsychologists / clinical psychologists / health psychologists, psychology fellows / externs, social workers, and psychiatric nurses. Our patient population includes children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

Our team is devoted to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of psychiatric and psychological disorders. Whether giving routine care or working on complex cases, the department’s faculty members apply their considerable experience and highly collaborative working style in order to achieve the best possible patient care outcomes. Psychiatrists, therapists, patients, and family members work as a team to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
