Report on the first day to the back of the hospital cafeteria at 6:30 a.m. for Gynecologic Morning Report.

Description: The student will be responsible for following GYN patients preoperatively, scrubbing on their surgeries intraoperatively and participating in their postoperative care. The student will be expected to formulate differential diagnoses, propose appropriate treatment plans and implement treatment plans. The student will be given more responsibility than a junior clerk and, with supervision, will be allowed to function as a subintern on the GYN service.
Method of Evaluation: Instructor's evaluation of clinical performance, review of case list, reading and knowledge of current literature and oral presentation.
