MASTER OF SCIENCE IN
CELLULAR AND MOLECULAR ONCOLOGY

The Department of Cancer Biology understands the importance in investing in the future, and our Cellular and Molecular Oncology (CMO) Master of Science program offers education and training to the next generation of cancer researchers. Through a combination of advanced coursework and hands-on, laboratory-based training, we prepare our students for successful and fulfilling careers in research, education or in preparation toward a professional degree program. The CMO MS program begins with a year of didactic coursework, journal club, seminar and laboratory rotations. The second year is dedicated to independent research with an experienced faculty mentor. Our faculty provide highly personalized training experiences tailored to the student’s needs based on background, interests, and career goals. The program culminates in the writing and defense of a Master’s thesis.
