Grants and Scholarships

Need-Based Financial Assistance Programs

Several kinds of need-based programs are available to help you attend Loyola University Chicago SSOM, including grants and scholarships, which are not subject to repayment; or low-interest loans with repayment deferred until after graduation.

Loyola assists full-time medical students by providing assistance awarded on the basis of financial need. To be considered for Loyola's need-based assistance, the FAFSA should be completed by Loyola’s March 1st priority application date. Please note, need-based funding is awarded once every year, therefore if awarded you may not be granted the same amount next year.

More information on Loyola's Scholarship Connection, for continuing students; can be found here.
