Since July 2012, Loyola University Health System radiologists are employed at all Loyola facilities offering imaging services, including Gottlieb Memorial Hospital. This Spring, Loyola radiology services at Gottlieb will also expand to include vascular interventional radiology.

“At Gottlieb, turnaround times have improved and many quality initiatives have been implemented,” said Scott Mirowitz, MD, professor and chairman, Department of Radiology, Loyola University Health System. Loyola offers PET/CT imaging, breast imaging, body imaging, pediatric radiology, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, musculoskeletal and vascular and interventional specialities.

“Radiology touches all aspects of medical care, from outpatient to inpatient, and maintaining consistent protocols of excellence across the system reinforces Loyola’s higher standards of care,” Dr. Mirowitz says. “Loyola maintains a core team of six radiologists at Gottlieb who are fluidly integrated with the Maywood campus.”
