Stritch and Loyola Celebrate Postdoctoral Appreciation Week

Join the Office of the Vice Provost of Research to recognize the significant contributions postdocs make to research at -- and beyond -- Loyola University Chicago during Postdoctoral Appreciation Week (September 20-24). Currently, 43 doctoral fellows study and research a broad range of topics from cancer biology and public health sciences to law and psychology.

A postdoctoral scholar has earned a doctoral degree and is engaged in a temporary period of mentored research and/or scholarly training to acquire the skills required to pursue their career path. Postdocs conduct research under the supervision and mentorship of a senior researcher.

The week is sponsored by the National Postdoctoral Association. Learn more about resources available to postdocs and prospective postdocs.
