Loyola Ophthalmology offers medical and surgical management of a wide variety of diseases of the cornea, conjunctiva, and anterior segment. Loyola has 2 fellowship trained cornea specialists who have expertise in:

  • High-risk corneal transplantation
  • Surgical management of severe ocular surface disease including
    • Stem cell transplantation
    • Amniotic membrane transplantation
  • Severe dry eye, blepharitis
  • Corneal infection
  • Keratoconus
  • Therapeutic contact lens fitting (through the Contact Lens Service)

  • Corneal topography and corneal thickness (Orbscan)
